This course is an intensive learning experience presented by Patricia Allison and a team of instructors using lecture, discussion, hands-on projects, videos, site visits, and student presentations.  Along with the intellectual and practical information of the Permaculture curriculum, this program gives deep consideration to the cultural, social, and spiritual aspects of sustainability.
    This course contains Part 1 of the curriculum necessary for a Permaculture Design certificate.  Completion of the Permaculture Design Practicum (which may be offered in the fall), consisting of Part 2 of the curriculum plus completion of a site design, entitles you to a Certificate.
